I'm Back!

Was it really September since the last time I posted anything?! Wow guys I am so sorry!! I was just reading that post and my how things have changed since September especially regarding the Vols posting I did! Lame Kiffin left TN to go to USC but we got a new coach a few days after that and so far I like him! His name is Derek Dooley and he came from Louisanna Tech and his dad was a legendary coach for Georgia. I'm so glad we got somebody that has grown up around the SEC...I think that was Kiffin's problem..He didn't get just how great the SEC is!! There is NO other conference like it!! Ok so now that we got that out of the way let's get on to some other stuff...I have a ton of pics to post and this afternoon I will work on those! I am now a stay at home mom and I LOVE IT!!! I was so unhappy at work and one Sunday I was at church and we had some special singers there that day and they sung one song that was talking about bringing your burdens and laying them at the foot of the cross and at that moment I realized I couldn't deal with all that stuff by myself so I went up and put my burdens at the foot of the cross and I truly believe God heard my prayer and worked it out in his time and now I get to spend the day with the people I love the most..my husband and sweet precious girl!! Thank you Lord for all your blessings. We had a fabulous Christmas and Jade got a TON of stuff! I thought she'd be excited about opening gifts this year..NOPE! She had fallen asleep about an hour before we started opening gifts and once she woke up she wanted nothing to do with the paper and bows! I opened her gifts and mine and it took forever but eventually she came around and started playing with her toys! I'm definitley glad 2009 is over and so far I have enjoyed 2010 and am looking forward to many more blessings!

Danny Gokey performed in Knoxville on Dec. 15 to benefit United Way and Sophia's Heart, the charity he started in honor of his late wife who died right before he auditioned for American Idol. He was fantastic and oh so sweet! This was an early birthday present from my mom!
