Prayer Request

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Channon Christian/Christopher Newsom murders but this week they started the trials for the 1st of the 4 murderers involved! If you don't know much about the story, you can google it or go to any of our local media outlets...wbir.com, volunteertv.com or knoxnews.com . I just have a heavy heart for these families, The Christian's and the Newsom's. I just ask that you lift their names up in prayer. The acts against this young couple is despicable and their families still have a long way to go but with The Lord's help maybe they can begin to heal. I have watched these families on tv and it just breaks my heart and I honestly don't know if I'd be able to get out of bed in the morning if something ever happened to my child!

I promise to resume normal blogging soon...hopefully we can get a new CPU soon and I can have a working computer and not rely on my brother's laptop.

Prayer Request

My aunt called yesterday with a very special prayer request...She works with a girl I graduated with and Wednesday her husband shot himself in the head in front of her and their infant daughter (she's a few months older than Jade) It didn't kill him but they did declare him brain dead yesterday after some tests. When I talked to my aunt the last she had heard was they were getting the papers ready to take him off life support. He also has a son from a previous marriage/relationship who was not there at the time. I asked my aunt why he did this and she said they think he was depressed. I can not imagine what my friend is going through and I pray that God gives her strength during this very difficult time. So please pray for Amy and Shelby and the son.

Update: I just saw her Facebook status and it says:
"Really need your thoughts and prayers. I have lost my best friend.
He meant the world to me and my life will never be the same"
